Universal tripods

There are four types of tripods: pocket, universal (suitable for camcorders and cameras), videostatic and photostatic respectively.

Photostatic tripods

These are quite expensive models made of durable material. They are often made of titanium and high-strength steel. These models are designed for heavy SLR cameras, the total weight of which with the lens and additional accessories exceeds 2 kg. They have a very rich set of delivery, due to which you can significantly expand the scope of application.

Videostatic tripods

As it can be seen from the name, they are designed exclusively for video cameras. In principle, they are not different from universal and photostatic tripods, except for the presence of a large handle on the head. It is designed for more convenient cropping. They have the same weight, materials and construction as other models.

Pocket tripods

In principle, this is a very interesting option, because it can be carried in a trouser pocket. This is very convenient tool if you have a small camera and you have a place where to put it, because its height is about 30 centimeters in the unfolded state. The maximum weight of the camera for such a tripod is 500 grams. In addition, another important advantage is the low price.

Universal tripods

This is the most common category at the moment, because these models are inexpensive. They are universal because they are designed for both a video camera and a camera, including a mirror one. They are made mainly of aluminum, so it is very easy and convenient to carry them.
